Create a Positive Environment for Relaxation & Mindfulness

There are numerous of things that we do to reset - and trust us, we reset quite often. We've learned that it allows us to give more to ourselves while being there for others. You can't pour from an empty cup and you shouldn't pour for yourself last.


Let's focus on you - maximize the ways that you show up for yourself. Big or small, every step is a start. Small increments amount to major changes if you do it over a course of time.


Positive environments allow us to thrive. Create that environment for optimal relaxation and mindfulness by doing things that make you feel like YOU. Personally, we enjoy:

  • Communing with nature - walking, hiking, anything that allows us to breath in fresh air and get some vitamin D.

  • Cleaning and spraying our favorite room sprays - we don't always like the act of cleaning but the after effects can't be topped. Also, smell goods are always a good vibe.

  • Cooking - something about a home cooked meal gives us warm vibes. We know what in my food and meal prepping is a time saver.

  • Candles - We LOVE a good candle.

  • Vibing to some of our favorite Afrobeat artists - We have a few on rotation. When the beat drops so do our shoulders. Can't really be in a bad mood after that.

We each have a list of things that help us unwind and create a positive environment for relaxation and mindfulness. Tap into your inner self and reset. As often as needed. No judgement. Just positive vibes.
