  • What does Ruhsel + Tol mean?
    Ruhsel is the phonetic way of saying "Roselle", the hibiscus flower. Small in size but it's vibrant in color and has many medicinal properties. Tol stands for Tree of Life (T.O.L) which is commonly known as the Baobab tree. They are over 75ft tall and provide life-sustaining water, food, clothing and shelter for both humans and animals in the African savanna regions.
  • What was the inspiration behind Ruhsel + Tol?
    Nature serves a constant reminder that there's power at any size and at every step. Everything serves a purpose. Ruhsel + Tol is a reminder that we all have power. With our feet planted firmly, together we are a force. Standing tall has nothing to do with height. We are remarkably crafted beings.   • What type of wax do you use?
    We use a hemp coconut soy blend wax. It’s a gluten free, toxin free, paraben free, phthalate free and come from renewable sources.
  • How long can I burn my candle?
    No more than 3 hours at a time. Please review the warning labels on all of our products prior to using.
  • How should I use the wax botanicals?
    Wax Botanicals should be used in wax warmer only.
  • Do I need to trim my wick?
    Yes, your candle arrives prepped for immediate use. After each burn, please trim your candle per the instructions.
  • Can I use my wax botanicals in the tub?
    No, you should not place your Wax Botanicals in the tub. They should be used in wax warmers only.
  • What type of fragrances do you use?
    All of our fragrances are vegan, toxic-free, phthalates-free, mutagen-free, cruelty free, and carcinogen-free.
  • Are they made with natural ingredients?
    Yes, most of our ingredients are natural and ethnically/sustainably sourced.
  • Are bigger sizes available?
    We are exploring bigger bottles as well as refills options for both the perfumes and dews.
  • Why sugarcane alcohol?
    Why not? It’s an eco friendly, 100% natural, organic, non-GMO and sustainably sourced. We strive to produce you with sustainable and premium quality products. This ingredient delivers on that.
  • How should I use these?
    Take a scoop and pour it under running water. Since it has botanicals in them, some folks prefer to place the salts in a soap pouch. This help reduce the clean-up. What works for you, works for us.
